Winter 2006. This time the living room of Bernina (a detached house and temporary cottage of Paul) was transformed into a recording studio. Sober sessions, drunk sessions, night sessions and morning sessions finally delivered thirteen heartbreaking songs. Twelve of them made it to the record. ‘Home’ blends country, folk and blues with psychedelic sixties sounds. ‘Home’ reminds you of obscure jukejoints and raw field recordings. ‘Home’ shouldn't been ‘Home’ without good old Hermann and his 8-track, batteria alla Joshua, Henk van Mil's mindblowing trumpet solo and the special artwork by Rik van Iersel.
