All songs are well thought out and beautifully constructed. Especially the addition of the acoustic guitars to electric guitars is refreshing. Thanks to this, the album does not get lost in an obligatory folk album. The entire album breathes sixties. The mood is often psychedelic and if we didn’t know better, the suspicion may arise that the two have been browsing through outtakes of the California folk celebrities. In addition to the psychedelic folk, influences of American roots can be heard clearly and in the song Riddles, Tales + Lies even British folk comes into play. To keep a long story short: Woody & Paul have delivered an excellent record.
