S.T. Cordell, with members of The Droste Effect and Woody & Paul, presents two long tracks. Do Not Do Gentle is built around a poem by Dylan Thomas, Exodus around a verse by Ernest Gold. The first one is a piece of adventurous rock gradually evolving into a dance tune, while the second song sounds pretty funky. Thanks to the voice of Woody Veneman and the musical accompaniment, bands like New Order, A Certain Ratio and Mekanik Kommando surface, all in a contemporary style. The sextet calls their music Eurorock, we call it addictive, contemporary and highly danceable.
